Haley gustafson is a Chicago born, NYC based artist, writer, and performer who recently made their Broadway debut as Sally Simpson in the Tony nominated 2024 revival of “The Who’s Tommy.” 

Her time living and working in the Chicago storefront scene informed her artistic sensibilities, and she gravitates towards the kind of left-of-center, ensemble based work that defines the city. This love of DIY theater-making, coupled with an almost insatiable desire to explore every artistic outlet they can find, has led her to dance, singing, acting, songwriting, music composition and production, guitar, videography, and playwriting, but weirdly not, like, painting? or tap dancing (jesus christ).

Like so many of her idols, including lady Gaga, Idina Menzel, and Angelina Jolie, Haley is a proud drop-out of NYU.

currently, haley is working on a musical about the 2022 russian women’s figure skating olympic team (yes really).
